It’s Not Enough To Be “not bad”

My ex used to tell me all the time: “I’m not a bad man.”. It’s not enough.  I told my kids I wanted them to be good, not “not bad.” I want the same, really, for and from everyone.  It’s not enough to be “not wrong” if you’re not even trying to be right.
