All American culture

​As Americans, I wish we would realize that we have the very great advantage of claiming all heritage.  You don’t need to be Asian to embrace aspects of that culture, hard work and group cooperation/cohesion.  You don’t have to be black to love soul food and r&b.  You don’t have to be Mexican to love Tamales and fiestas.  You are American.  All of it is yours by birthright.  We can and should claim the best of whatever culture it is we wish to emulate and abandon the worst.  Let history cover the realities while you embrace the possibilities.   Put aside blame.  It profits you nothing, even if well deserved.
