It’s been almost 2 years since my hobbit died. We, our new family, are getting to our new normal. Part of that is getting organized. Here’s a fun and inexpensive idea for organizing earrings and rings:
My earrings were just sitting in my jewelry box like this, completely unorganized, which makes them hard to find. I found these cheap pill containers at dollar tree,
and I mean they are cheap. They will fall apart before you use them for daily medication for more than one week. But because some of the pill hldersbroke before I could get some really good use from them, I tossed some earrings in the working ones and thought “this would make a great earring organizer ”

I bought 5 containers and sorted the earrings by color. Luckily I don’t have many huge hoops or long dangling earrings.
I stacked like colors together.
And put them in my jewelry box (that i got at Hobby Lobby -a lantern with drawers ) like so:
