Further Up and Further In – A Grief Observed

I lost my best friend.  My husband passed away this week on his 47th birthday.  It has been a rough few days, but the outpouring of love and sympathy has been wonderful.  I have many friends managing things for me, and I am very thankful for that.  Because my Hobbit didn’t get to celebrate his birthday, in leiu of a funeral/memorial service, we are going to have a birthday party for him and my son will open his presents.  There are many challenges ahead, but if you’d like to donate to his Memorial (ie Birthday) fund, you can do it at: http://www.gofundme.com/88y5jc

I am endlessly grateful to the joy that this wonderful, wonderful man gave me.  He had severe challenges, but it never stopped him from putting me first, trying to build my dreams up and making me feel beautiful.  I will never forget that.
